The "M" List Winter 2008

Themlistwinter08

Here it is. The "M" List for Winter 2008. These are some of the things that you will find in our home and traveling with us everywhere we go.

Socks by trumpette. LOVE them. Especially because baby E doesn't always want to  wear shoes and with these stylish socks that are warm and stay put on her feet, we can just run out the door! I love the different styles and I am going to scoop some up for her big sister too. Plus I love that they mess with my husband's OCD. Some designs are mis-matched on purpose and it drives him nuts!
get them:: www.trumpette.com

MomSpit. Yes that is the name. Inspired by the original, but not a drop of saliva in the ingredients ('cause that would be gross). Scents like Fig and Lemon beat the alternative. If you remember your mom's spit probably used to smell like coffee or worse. Sure she spat on her finger and wiped it on your face in an act of pure love and desperation before heading out in public, but thanks to MomSpit you don't have to get the "icky" look from your kids and the "eew mom, that's gross" remarks. Just simply pump out some of this goodness, foam it up and watch the chocolate corners disappear. Ruby likes to do it herself (of course).

Cosina Play Gym by Spectra. I had to have this. My wonderful mother bought it for me when baby E was born. I really don't like traditional play mats. For one they are ugly, and also I find it a pain to have to dig baby out from underneath the hanging play toys. Plus, my kids were both spitters and having to wash the entire play gym the first time around with Ruby, I knew I didn't want to go through that again. The cosina play gym is genius. It looks great, and you simply lift it up over baby to take it away and vice versa. Put any blanket or safe surface underneath for them to play. Sit baby up right and let him/her bat at the toys from a baby seat, or while sitting on their own.

Knuffle Bunny Too. Well let's just say I can recite this without even opening the cover but Mo Willems is such a talented artist and writer that you just have to crack it open. Each time you read it you notice a different illustration! According to Ruby you also have to read this book and it's predecessor every.single.night. No problem! We love it and now also give it as gifts.

Snap-T Synchilla by Patagonia. Perfect for throwing on and running out the door. When we take our daily stroll this pullover has a nice sized chest pocket for my blackberry and my house key. The weight is nice and you can choose to layer it up depending on the weather. Black is my pick but there are a few other colors. A Women's cut is also available but - HINT: the Men's is a little less expensive.

About the "M" List:: Looking around we noticed that there are certain products that we have reviewed over the past 3 years that really just stick to us. We gift others with these brands, we consistently use these products every day in our household, and most of all we re-order from these companies since we are pretty much addicted.

I thought that I would come up with a list. To be honest, it wasn't tough. You know when you know- you know? Immediately by glancing at Ruby in her Francie Pants which she wears daily under her skirts so that the boys at school don't see her undies, watching her use her Dr. Bobby stick as "makeup", and sticking Mabel's Labels in all of her shoes it was obvious.

For me, Mama, it's all about my mom Agenda, my cards by Erin Condren, my fabulously special keychain and my perfect lip gloss.

Stay tuned, with hundreds of product submissions a month the list is
bound to grow.
