I love a great handbag but I am super picky. This is only one reason why I heart Margaret Nicole New York. Designer Nicole Dreyfuss is a genius with knit but also lets you virtually design your own handbag from her collection on her website!
I chose a cream knit large bangle bag for my fall designer splurge and I picked a brown velvet ribbon to adorn it, however at any time I could swap it out with another ribbon or add a broach and turn this bag into a completely different look.
Visit www.margaretnicole.com today. What bag do you love?
What exactly is Scalp Butter? I had this question when I received word that Inky Loves Nature was giving proceeds from their Scalp Butter to Breast Cancer Awareness. If you are curious too, read below and BUY SOME! :) Shop:: http://inkylovesnature.com/index.html
Consciously made with 90% Organically grown ingredients!
Nappaliscious Nutritious; Nutrify your naps and stimulate your scalp. A mega rich infusion of naturally nourishing and scalp stimulating goodies, including organic Cilantro, organic MSM sulfur, Cayenne pepper, Cape Snow Bush oil from south Africa. A cast of over 17 amazing ingredients; all blended together in a tea of organic herbal nutritious-ness! As with all inky goodies a small amount goes a long way. Promotes healthy hair and growth. May help with balding spots. Scalp could tingle or feel heated from being stimulated and increased blood flow. Think "Lip venom" for the scalp. Has a potent, compelling, herbally floral essence. Is light, melts quickly and isn't greasy or waxy.
Part hair and apply to the entire scalp, (front to back, left to right) nightly or every other night or a few times a week, or once a year, or once a century... oh! and drinking lots of water
"Having dreads keeps me from having the daily stimulation of combing hair. The first time I applied it I was prepared for tingling, but not for the warm massage sensation. I'm addicted to this butter" -Danielle Ellis, Dallas, TX
33% of sales from Inky's bestselling Nappaliscious Nutritious during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, go to the Dr Hadwen Trust for Non-animal breast cancer research.

Everyone needs 1 pink item in their wardrobe. I think a handbag is a great way to add a splash of color when you are a bit afraid to be daring. I am never afraid to be daring with my style but I know so many women who stick with black, grey, neutrals and never take it up a notch. Now is the time to own a designer handbag and give 15% of the purchase to Breast Cancer Awareness!
Shop www.barijonline.com for Clutchettes just like this one and own a designer handbag that you can be proud of AND afford. Designer Bari J is donating 15% of sales from PINK items to BCA during October. Thanks Bari J!
We love a brown dog. The tees are yummy and they also send positive messages to children in a world of tees that sometimes are geared more for parents than kids. Right now you can get your holiday shopping in a flash with their buy 2 get 1 free offer! That is a free $20 tee with the purchase of any 2 reg priced shirts. The layered look is in and these fresh white tees look great over long sleeves!
Some of our favorites include "Max says eat your veggies" and "bear says don't cry over spilled milk". they even did a tee this month to benefit families afflicted with Breast Cancer. This special tee features Sofie who says "never give up". Each tee has an illustrated dog with a positive message for sizes 2-6T.

We received a book for review that I can't actually review YET but had to tell you about it. It's called the Belly Book and I have yet to use it because I am not yet pregnant with our 2nd child. Had I had this book when pregnant with Ruby (now 2) I would have had a lot of fun writing in it and documenting my pregnancy with her, I just know it! I am keeping it tucked away for when I need it but I had to share it with you.
The Belly Book is a ultra hip way to keep track of your pregnancy and it's not intimidating and super time consuming as some other pregnancy journals can be. It's silly and it's easy and it looks cool! Nothing baby gooey, icky about this book, it's crisp and clean and is even curved like a belly!
I love the beginning section during the 1st trimester were you can document your food aversions and whether or not you have morning sickness- the title of the page is "honey can you please hold back my hair?" too funny. too true!
get it at Amazon
Play Silks bring me back to elementary school, rainy days, and the coolest teachers. I remember having them to throw around and be all creative and carefree! I was reminded of these good times when I heard about what a shop called EllieBelly was doing for Breast Cancer Awareness this month. For each playsilk sold they are donating $1 to Susan G. Komen Foundation!
Get your play silks at www.elliebelly.com I like this set where you select your own colors for just $36!
Sometimes I just get hooked on a CD. Lately I am hooked yet again on my Squeeze Singles 45 and Under Best of CD. I mean I had this tape all through middle school and high school, college etc but now that I am a grown up I love to buzz around town singing like an angry but sensitive post punk englishmen.
Maybe you remember their song "Tempted" which in my opinion is highly overplayed, it's their lesser known stuff that I adore, such as "If I didn't Love You" and "Goodbye Girl". Have a listen at Barnes and Noble and after you love it, buy it! It's SO worth it and it's okay to listen to in the car with the smaller kids, if you can barely make out their English brogue chances are your kid won't either. They will just like rocking to the beat.
